You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving visitors, donors, staff, and medical emergencies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
