As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor direction and entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, observations, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
