Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable armed post procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of individuals entering and leaving the location.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
