As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in East Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, Allied Universal management, and law enforcement personnel as needed.
