Requirements

An armed guard card and/or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property rules, helping to support authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
Assist with routine reporting, incident documentation, and communication related to daily operations, maintenance concerns, and/or disturbances observed during patrol activities.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
