About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Readiness in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to the public. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, transit patrons, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at government transportation facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and policy violations; report observations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.
