About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Healthcare in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to incidents, follow site procedures, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and restricted-area access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to hospital personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and/or public emergency responders as appropriate.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
