As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind at a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter prohibited activities and maintain order within the government facility.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary.
Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal standards and training.
Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain required certifications and readiness for the armed patrol post.
