Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial HQ in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a secure environment by responding promptly to situations and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the premises.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed for incidents and/or emergencies.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports according to site requirements.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats or suspicious behavior.
