As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, build positive relationships through exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. This is an armed post, where you will help to foster a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a current armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure while addressing concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor access points, entrances, and exits to help to deter inappropriate activity and maintain order within the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activity in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal policies.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required during incidents.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of security-related equipment and adhere to all applicable regulations for armed posts.
