As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within financial institutions, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing visible presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with clients and visitors, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and authorizations for entry as required.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and first responders during emergency situations.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or customers at the location.
