As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Duty in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access to the location by checking credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and assisting with visitor and/or vehicle screening in accordance with site protocols.
• Support incident response and post orders by communicating with local authorities when needed, completing required reports, and helping to maintain order during operational disruptions and/or emergencies.
