As an Armed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This driving and armed post involves routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to company and client protocols.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the commercial real estate environment.
Document observations and/or incidents in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client contacts.
