As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is an armed and driving position, where you will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a secure environment at the location.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
