Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, leadership, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures, maintaining professional presence and readiness while helping to support restricted access control and other security-related activities.
  • Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns promptly while helping to support orderly operations for staff, customers, and visitors.
