As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Puyallup, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
