As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving zones, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
