About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Route in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and escalating to law enforcement and/or site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and daily activities according to site procedures.
  • Support order at the location by addressing policy violations, assisting with directions and/or information requests, and communicating clearly with supervisors, staff, and public agency representatives.
