As an Armed Security Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires operation of a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with residents and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

Have at least six months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe residents, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals as appropriate.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, suspicious activity, and other security-related observations.
