As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond professionally to concerns. Requirements

Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess at least five years of security-related experience.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor direction, credential checks, and documentation of access-related activity.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
