As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct visible vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, observations, and security-related activities.
