As a Security Officer Armed Incident Response Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have two or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
