About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Badging in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and badge experience
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, and/or contractor activity in alignment with site protocols and applicable armed post procedures.
Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public emergency responders as needed.
