As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Detail in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Must have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and public activity, reporting unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily observations while supporting requested assistance from site personnel and public-facing operations.
