As a Security Officer - Armed Overnight Mobile in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will drive through assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this armed, driving post, you will support residents and guests while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring, team-driven culture and integrity at every step.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, entry points, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as conditions vary by post.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, vendor, and/or vehicle activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and unusual behavior.
• Carry authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards, post instructions, and applicable laws, while maintaining professionalism during resident interactions and patrol duties.
