As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for members, visitors, and staff. You will respond to situations with professionalism, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established financial institution procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
