Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic public transportation environment. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or License. Bring integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while working collaboratively to support travelers, employees, and the community.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, facilities, transit access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable laws, regulations, and site procedures.
  • Maintain a professional armed presence and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable licensing requirements.
  • Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, transit personnel, and emergency responders as appropriate.
