Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to cover assigned areas, respond to calls for service, and document activity with clear reports. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while delivering responsive customer service. Requirements

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity, identifying and reporting hazards and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with property management and/or local first responders, and documenting actions taken.
• Control access to the property by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and enforcing visitor, delivery, and contractor protocols.
• Complete detailed reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; maintain assigned equipment and follow all Allied Universal and site requirements for armed post operations.
