Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or access concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control procedures, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
  • Support cash handling and other high-value movement activity when required by site procedures, maintaining professional presence and following all post orders, firearm protocols, and Allied Universal standards.
