About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Gallatin, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and critical infrastructure to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public emergency responders when appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and required communication channels.
