About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Georgetown, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or License. You will deliver customer-focused service while supporting a caring culture that puts people first, working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and suspicious behavior.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor flow, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or restricted area access per location procedures.
  • Complete accurate reports and logs of patrol activities, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
