As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driving Role in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with store leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or receiving zones to help support loss prevention efforts, access control practices, and a professional environment for customers and staff.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and/or emergency situations while following post orders and Allied Universal standards for armed personnel.
