About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and report unauthorized persons, prohibited items, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency procedures by communicating with site contacts, assisting with controlled movement during incidents, and following post orders and applicable use-of-force guidelines.
