As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Laredo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or point-of-sale zones to help support loss prevention efforts, report suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and/or communication with site contacts and local responders as needed, while maintaining a professional presence during daily operations.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
