As a Security Officer Armed Level III Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in security-related roles is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access protocols at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Support emergency response activities, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and maintain a visible presence while carrying out assigned duties in varied environments and conditions.
