As a Armed Security Officer - Level III Driver Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and interact with shoppers and staff through exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or merchandise zones for policy compliance, access concerns, and unusual activity, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with de-escalation, support cash handling escorts and/or opening and closing activities, and coordinate with local law enforcement when needed according to site procedures.
