About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol Shift in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help create a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols specific to healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect people and property within the healthcare location.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and incident response.
Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to support a welcoming and secure environment.
Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements for armed security-related posts.
