As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will conduct regular patrols of the location, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to situations as needed. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports in a timely manner.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during drills, emergencies, and/or evacuations as needed.
