As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the location, verifying identification and permissions as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients, addressing inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.
Remain alert to potential threats or suspicious activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Support Allied Universal leadership in implementing site-specific security-related policies and procedures.
