Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or armed guard license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
Assist medical staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity according to site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to address security-related situations.
