As a Security Officer Armed Guard Card Patrol in Mc Calla, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support access control. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site access requirements.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report potential policy violations, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
