As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
