As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points and observe for unusual activity while maintaining a visible presence.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Operate security-related equipment and follow all site-specific instructions regarding armed patrol duties.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
