As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience, or a degree in criminal justice.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations, verifying credentials and observing for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential risks.
Support site protocols related to opening and closing procedures, visitor management, and other assigned security-related duties while maintaining a professional presence.
