As a Security Officer Armed Elite Field Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Professional, you will provide a visible presence throughout a residential community, conducting routine vehicle patrols and responding to security-related concerns. You will help to deter incidents, support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements

• Possess at least two years of combined corrections, law enforcement, military, and/or a college degree in criminal justice.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering and leaving the property.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
