About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role Security Clearance in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or vehicle entry in accordance with post orders and location requirements.
  • Perform armed patrol duties in alignment with Allied Universal standards and site instructions, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns as needed.
