As a Security Officer Armed Driver in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and incident records.
  • Observe shipping, receiving, and warehouse activity for unusual conditions and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
