You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess 1+ year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
