Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including while assigned to an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns to report.
• Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe for suspicious behavior, and document incidents, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with access control, monitor delivery and vendor areas, and communicate with local management and/or first responders when support is needed.
