Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help control access, support loss prevention efforts, and report unusual behavior or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and incident response during busy business hours, special events, and/or delivery activity at the location.
